It is quickly turning into that fabulous time of year. Pumpkins on nearly every door step, yellows and reds creeping into the trees, leaves swirling down the street, and a chill in the air that was not there before.
Some acorn and butternut squash, onions, peppers, and more at the market this morning.
At the end of the day, a nice concert at Eastman this evening. The RPO started off with the ever eerie Danse macabre by Saint-Saëns, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 in C Major with brilliant pianist Jeremy Denk, and finally Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique. Concertmaster Juliana Athayde's sweeping legato filled the theatre and newly appointed music director Ward Stare had so much energy and grace as he danced on that podium.
On the way out something caught my eye!
